Greetings, Fellow Wood Enthusiasts:
I'm a long-time viewer, first-time typer. I've long admires the myriad of wood and wood discussion that goes on here. While the WTB, Trade, or Sell has an excitement all its own, I'm a fan of the whole site.
I first got into woodworking as a 30-something wanting to carve in some vintage European style. Now in my 40's, carving still appeals to me, though my interests have broadened to include exotic and interesting woods of all kinds, vintage tools and workbenches, restoration and use of said tools and workbenches, and generally appreciating the craftsmanship of previous generations that remains with us today. My ambitions are currently bigger than my square footage, time, and budget allow, though I have high hopes. With limited time, I seem to collect more interesting wood, tools, and stories than I can possibly use. As such, I hope share / trade / sell / donate as opportunities arise.
Below are a few finished projects, though many more have been started. Plus, I wish I photographed more.
