Phone pics are good to 'document' things....and are handy. But....for me....not a replacement for a DSLR. I did get some good 'blurry water' pics.

Hawk that lives around here got a bird. Not sure which kind of bird, but....

I had a 10 incher living under my tool box in the corner of the basement for a few years. Kid brought home a cat. Have not seen 'Yellow dot' since...2 years.

Heck, Mississippi isn't even on the list. What happened there? I am surprised by the amount of peanuts grown here. What I found funny about the article is that they used pounds instead of tons or bushels like they usually do on stuff of that scale. Interesting anyway.I don't think so.

I read an article once that indicated that Peanuts were a staple food for some of the Rebels during the Civil War. They called them, "Nutritious little buggers", but I may have made a typo. It could be "boogers" since it is attributed to a Southerner.

I think they meant 'buggers', has in, the hind end, implying if all you have to eat is them, they can really cause digestive issues for some, and hurt on the way out...Heck, Mississippi isn't even on the list. See your leaves are way ahead of us. 5th picture down, looks like a fig tree lower left corner.
The tree in the background is European ash (the site somehow compresses the file photo so the resolution is lower that is why you could not read the tag label). I don’t know what tree that is at the lower left corner as it wasn’t mark. They have marked only the more mature trees at this time.
Had a storm Friday night and it knocked over a property line hackberry tree. Spalting was in the bottom 4" of the trunk and nothing higher than that. Kept about 3' of the trunk so Jason can practice. About 10"-12" on butt.

I think all trees should come with a nametag.
New York City has started having these tree identification programs- Central Park, Older parks, historical districts, to name a few. Brooklyn Heights is one of the oldest neighborhoods on NYC landmarked by New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission (including other historic districts throughout the 5 boroughs + Long Island). This is a fairly good example of the tree ID program in Willow Street in the historic district of Brooklyn Heights- this is about 4 blocks worth of trees identified on the street block.
These two trunks below, I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of the actual leaves as well up to the crown level…….
