This is just a random list of species I'm looking for. I know some will be available from members here, while others may be hard to find. The only dimensional requirements are listed after the wood name
1. Texas ebony (Ebenopsis ebano) - minimum 12" length
2. Desert ironwood (Olneya tesota) - minimum 12" length, but preferably 18"+
3. Persimmon (Diospyros virginiana) - minimum 18" length
4. Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus)
5. Cortland Apple (malus domestica cultivar) - needs to be verified Cortland Apple tree.
6. Sour/Tart Cherry (Prunus cerasus) - minimum 1.5x1.5, but 2x2 or larger preferred
7. Sweet Cherry (Prunus avium) - minimum 1.5x1.5, but 2x2 or larger preferred
8. Brown's Rosewood (Dalbergia brownei)
9. Coinvine (Dalbergia ecastaphyllum)
10. Hawaiian sandalwoods (santalum spp.) - there are several. I'll take any.
