Sunrise & Sunset Shots . . . .

Really is the last harvest, temps getting down to about 20° tonight. Even potatoes in the ground can get frozen at those temps.

Still catching up, these shots are sunset from The Keys. Wife, her brother, and SIL love watching the sun go down. Okay, it’s nice, but I get bored after one nice one.

Sunset last night and zoomed in to the church. Notice the dead birch tree branch. It will be in back yard wildlife photo later.

That's about what our sunrise/sets look like. Heavy smog from Canadian wildfires. Supposed to get northern lights tonight, but probably won't have a chance with the smoke.
@Kenbo and his lighter?

Not a particularly pretty picture, but shows the weather we have. After several weeks in the 90's, the heat dome broke and now we are getting cooler weather blowing out of the north along with dense smoke from Canadian wildfires.

Saw this remarkable sunset on Saturday pm. Probably took 50 pics - it was just mesmerizing. That cloud bank did all the work. And as always the pics don’t really do any justice. Jim

Looks like opal in the sky. We got thunderheads, lightning and a good rain (0.35" in less than half an hour) and rained out our golf round after 9 holes. No complaints here, we need the rain.
