Took these a few years ago. We had to see the place where the sun first strikes the Continental US. Cadillac Mountain, Maine.
Tim, what it the dark spot off to the right of the moon? Is it some sort of lens reflectiveness?
Good eye! I didn't even see that until you mentioned it. This was shot through a kitchen window, so has to be a reflection of some sort with the lens, window and ambient light. That dark spot is in the same general area of all the pictures I shot, but not the exact area so it's a reflection rather than dirty lens.

Beautiful sunrise photos! I'd print the second one. That's a duck hunting morning sunrise; seen many similar out hunting.
Kinda/sorta reminds me of a piece of Ringed Gidgee a “certain someone” has in his collection.
