He's cute where he is in that picture... but in my yard there is nothing cute about him!Isn't this just the cutest little guy?

I expected a much more "enthusiastic" response. He's cute where he is in that picture... but in my yard there is nothing cute about him!
I suspect this particular furball might be shy a few nuts to be a he…….I expected a much more "enthusiastic" response.
Good luck.As nice as this looks, unless I can scare them off, there won’t be a darn thing growing in my garden at my new house…. And the foundation planting doesn’t stand much of a chance.
Years ago, I had a bunch of agricultural M80’s. I’m going to try to get hold of some and use a wrist rocket slingshot to scare the heck out of them. If I can’t run ‘em off, I’ll have more deer sausage than I can use.

Any chance you could use electric fence around the perimeter? True they can jump it, but around here a single strand of fence waist high, and baited with foil/peanut butter is enough to redirect them away from garden, orchard and landscaping. Some repellants also work, but need to be out before they start browsing new spring growth. As nice as this looks, unless I can scare them off, there won’t be a darn thing growing in my garden at my new house….
