Me too. I was going to go to Ace for a 1/4" street L, 6" nipple and a coupling. Based on the pricing, it would have been almost $11 to re-used the existing valve. I figured for break-even money...i'd get the flex hose. From the reviews on Amazon, i did take a minute to tighten the assembled joints before i installed. Piece of cake!!

Have turned some pens In the past for a buddy of mine that loves pens. A while back he sent me the wood and kits for another batch. Some ofnthe kits were my favorite pen, the magnetic graduate. I needed to get them done and sent back. Cut, drilled and glued the blanks yesterday. Turned them today. I had a magnetic graduate kit in my stash so I got it ready as well. On my way back from SWAT last year, @Bean_counter and I stopped at @Don Ratcliff's house. He gave me a piece of curly koa. Perfect for this kit. Thought I'd show it.
Sorted thru the stuff I picked up yesterday, it cleaned up nice. Not sure what I’m going to do with it yet but who cares.

Got the first coat on the small cabinet wifey and I are working on. Getting a puppy in two weeks and this will be for the puppy stuff.

Well I got the windows in the garage shop done this week. Didn't get the door done, ran out of money, lol. I guess that will be for another weekend. I might get the trim painted today.
Been on vacation all week so not really in a hurry to do anything. Down time is important.
Gonna super-sized the windows.
