I'm assuming that will get bagged and twice turned when it's dry? Looks cool.
Yes it will. I've never turned Osage, so I'm not sure on how long it'll take to dry. Most species are ready in about 2-3 months after this process.

Cut and drilled some pen blanks and decided to turn a piece of manzanita from Graciepuppie. 4" diameter. Great Fathers Day. Hope everyone else has a great one as well.

Thanks... I've got about 16 right now bagged. Trying to do 2-3 a day. I have a show in mid-September and only have 4 bowls finished at the moment. And I've not started on cutting boards and such. Busy, busy summer. And a HOT summer at that.
Sundays project... since this week is near 100f in WNY. I just kinda putzed around the garage trying to work on cleaning and some of the ongoing projects. Now I just need to finish cleaning up the homemade metal brake to bend the shelves for this one. A shelf for the model paints. Second pic is the 'layer' behind the new one.

Did some turning with my favorite apprentice.
I glued my fingers together with super glue, while gluing shingles on the roof of my lighthouse/music box....multiple times. I'm a slow learner I guess.
I turned on the Mr.Cool and cranked it down on turbo. Put product away left over from a craft fair held yesterday.
The heat was brutal, we packed up at 7pm and headed home to the showers. Surprising how many folks showed up
for the fair.
