What did you do in your shop today?

Finally got over a sinus thing and allergies and got some time in the shop. I finished up a cross for our house.
Flame box elder. One coat of blo for a finish.

A li/le work in the shop tonight. Burned some edges.
Not going as heavy with the burned effect for this batch.

The catalpa burns really cool when done lightly. It gives it a striped effect almost like zebra wood.

The last two cherry bowls of about 26 for a Mother's Day order... now they need to hurry and dry so I can twice turn them. 😳

I gotta a couple hours in the shop tonight so I sanded the faces to 180 grit and got a coat of blo on these. This is half of this batch. I think next Batch I'll leave some plain and not burn the edges.

Started out as a wolverine trap but then I read a research project that involved trapping wolverines to radio collar them. The wolverines destroyed any trap made with anything less than 6" diameter logs. This might be gerbil trap.

Hey, lookit'dat.... still a clamp holder but with a fancier base.
