He'll be 92, and is in guarded health. Has trouble with some short term memory, but doing pretty well. However, he did just get diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. Not something that you can cure and not likely to die from directly, but by catching pneumonia or something like it. Plus my wife just got diagnosed with another very small spot of cancer.I second that. My folks both passed at 97. Right around around 94-95 both of them had a rapid declination of mental function. I don't know what your pop's mental status is but I would highly recommend not missing out on it. SWAT will be there next year. Who knows if Pop will be there physically or mentally. I would wager which event upon will remember.
