Ok, so what is there to brag about? Try to sell it a little.A friend of mine was bragging about his tape measure, so I just had to have one. Ordered from Amazon, and arrived yesterday. Chuck

ok, I'm interested. I'm always measuring buildings - how long do they make them? My pet peeves for tape are 2 - one is the hook is too little and not accurate, and the other is that lock/unlock doesn't work well. Among a few that I have I use a FatMax 35' the most. The wide tape really reaches out there. But the lock don't work so well! Also carry around a Bosch Digital for those big jobs. Not easy to read in bright sunlight though. Used to carry a 300' tape, but that is usually not an easy 1-man affair.A friend of mine was bragging about his tape measure, so I just had to have one. Ordered from Amazon, and arrived yesterday. Just got it yesterday, so don’t have first hand experience yet. One feature I do like is when you pull out the tape it stays in place until you punch the button to retract it. I’ll try to remember to come back and give a more in-depth review after I’ve used it a bit. Found a review of it in the Amazon page for it. ChuckOk, so what is there to brag about? Mine is 25’. I couldn’t find a longer one… yet. I would recommend watching the quick videos on the Amazon page for it. Chuckok, I'm interested. OMG Jerry! Reminds me of Italian Nero Portoro Black Marble with gold veining! That piece is beyond gorgeous- I am available for adoption and I am low maintenanceView attachment 270945View attachment 270946View attachment 270947View attachment 270946View attachment 270947This was done years ago. It’s still not done, but you can see what the Cholla looks like. ….. Nubs

3 1/8" tall, about 3 1/2 diameter. Wall is 1/8+ and the bottom is 3/8 thick. The bowl itself is sitting on a 13/16 foot that is hollowed also, hence the 3/8 bottom thickness. I just might remount it when I get a lathe and trim it down to 3/16's thick. Gotta get a working lathe first. Still haven't turned since SWAT last year after totaling my lathe. ................. I'm the one that needs to be adopted. I don't do housework though. ........... NubsOMG Jerry! Reminds me of Italian Nero Portoro Black Marble with gold veining! That piece is beyond gorgeous- I am available for adoption and I am low maintenance

Yep, use a screwdriver to pry it loose. Try to save as big a pieces as you can, then stuff it into any depressions you see. In the end, you will more than likely like what you see. That is super cool! Are those the pieces of bark you were talking about?
