What's in the mail?

This came in. Made bulk a couple of times. Now I can use the stuffer. Any recommendations for sausage casings for beginner?

I should also mention that you can find LEM (and probably other brands) casings at most farm stores. They will do in a pinch, but are usually short lengths ~2 yards or so and mean a little more work if you are stuffing large quantities.

25lbs and under. I just watched the casing video on the Walton's website. Usually the small batch hog casings will have different lengths. That's probably what I'll try first.

Since you were already at Walton's, they have a forum called Meatgistics that can be very helpful. Lots of knowledgeable people.

Congrats. Had one a long time ago. Made a change to a KLR for a while. Then relationship issues happened…..but I have proved that is my speed now!
Yeah I considered other bikes but as I'm aging the weight of the other bikes becomes a big issue. The little tdub only weighs about 275 lbs. I can still pick this one up and slide it around. There's a lot to be said about riding a slow bike and a lighter bike. Much more enjoyable actually. For trail riding this is a great beginner bike, an ending bike, and everything in between. Mini motos are just great cheap fun!

Nice, will look into that one.
If you do look at the re boxed ones, that's what this one is. Saved $100 and it came with all new hardware. It was a returned but looked almost perfect and I'm gonna beat it up anyway, lol.

Do they still make Hodaka motorcycles? I rememeber the Hodaka Super Rat (or something like that) was THE off road bike. We used to say it could climb the Empire State building.

Hodakas went extinct many years ago. They had great names for their bikes. Lol. Cheap fun is what they where back in the 70s.

We have a local hodaka restoration specialist. I have handed him a couple to restore and sent him to 3 or 4 other hodakas. I have not toured his shop in person but I have seen them when he got done. Sweet rides. Toads, rats, and super rats.

Well summertime is motorcycle time for me. So I got new shortie mufflers for the triumph bonneville.
Beautifully pollished stainless steel.

The shorter mufflers will make chain maintenance much easier. Stock pipes block the adjusters. I hope these are not obnoxiously load. A little more sound would be good though. I'm still going to run the catalyst so it should be good.

Craft Supplies order came today. Been using Satellite City CA for as long as I can remember. When placing an order last week saw there is a huge price difference tween the two brands, more than double. Comes with micro tips as well so giving it a try. Any Insta-bond user feedback welcome.

In past conversations with original owner of our Woodcraft - he said that there are only a few makers of cyanoacrylate adhesives around. Not many in U.S. He had started his own brand and bought it in bulk and repackaged it. He said, other than being thick, medium, thin and now colored - there is not much difference.

I'm a believer in the satellite city stuff, too. Will periodically try others for the same reason as you, but keep going back.

And I've never found anything even remotely close to their super solvent. It beats anything I've tried by a mile.
