A Joke a Day Keeps The Boredom Away . . .

Comet TV has the series "Grimm". I've seen one episode that you described perfectly about the lady in white capturing kids and later drowning them . I can't remember what they called her in Spanish. .............. Nubs
Is that the one with the police in Portland that track down wesen the whole time? I liked that one quite a lot. Their mispronounciation of „wesen“ was particularly funny seeing as I live in a German speaking country.

Just another crazy wo........er.........haunted woman. "The Weeping Woman" is a famous, haunting figure in Latin American folklore. She is a ghostly mother condemned to search for her drowned children. She is said to appear near rivers at night in a white dress, wailing for her children. The legend serves as a cautionary tale, warning children to stay away from dangerous waters and telling stories of a woman who drowned her children in grief or rage after being abandoned, then drowned herself, and now seeks her lost kids or snatches others. I think she dates Sasquatch!
Sounds like she is akin to the woman attributed to "Woman Hollering Creek" on the east side of San Antonio

Yep, that's the show. I hear them pronounce it as Vesson/Vessen/Vessin. I watched it for almost a year. Reruns at 4 hours per weekday. I'll say this about Portland PD. One sided police department even in real life. .......... Nubs

Oh man! Totally, forgot about that creek. You cross it on I-10 before reaching Zuehl while driving back home to Seguin and further to Houston and beyond!. Used to hear tales about it at the Dance Hall at St Hedwig, but thought it was just beer talking to impress the pretty ladies. I just went down I-10 back in mid September and don't remember seeing the sign - I wonder if they took it down?

Its a durn shame that not much is made in the USA anymore. I bought a new TV yesterday and on the box was printed "Built in Antenna". Worse thing is. I don't even know where that is!
