You could try to make your own. An old HSS drill bit can be reshaped into small detail tools. I used to have a kolrosing knife made from an old drill bit until I got a nicer handmade one.Quick practice piece out of walnut. About 5 inches long. I need a smaller bead cutting tool.

Those finials are great though.First try at a carved hollow ornament. Some type of hard wood for the globe. Black wood for the finials.
Not happy with it.
This finials are very very good. Skew work? The globe requires some rethinking but I think it has potential.First try at a carved hollow ornament. Some type of hard wood for the globe. Black wood for the finials.

Decided to make something out of it for practice. 4 round by 4 1/2 high. 3/4 inch hole. Friction polish finish. The inside is pretty rough. Might rechuck and turn some more.
