What did you do in your shop today?

Drilled dowel pins and glued up the top for the hall table I want to build. This is some of that sweet ambrosia maple Gary sold me ( @gvwp ). The legs will also be ambrosia. The skirt under the top and the lower shelf will be made from a nice piece of poplar with some figure to it that I found at our local hardwood store. I figure I should have it done by around 4th of July.

Can’t wait to see it finished!!! Chuck

Looks good Bill. Some day i'd like to see a bit more of that tool caddy--looks very functional and like you may have some stuff on the back side?? Thanks!
Only recently acquired the tool caddy. A club member is getting rid of many of his tools and is going fishing. Not got around to organizing it yet. Going to make some changes.

Thanks Bill. Nice. That looks like some sort of production piece--HF or Northern maybe. Good base to start from, and if i'd seen something like it i'd not have thought about putting a tool rack on it!!

Started cutting some fresh walnut and using it to play with some new shapes.

Lot of the blanks will have some sap wood, so looking for different ways to show/balance it.
