Finished making my air scrubber. 4 speed furnace blower my buddy gave me. Very quite on low (7db increase over ambient noise) and plenty of air movement. It’s a beast on high with way more CFM than possibly needed. Uses two 4“ filters which equals 8 1” filters for surface area. With MERV-11 filters, should do a good job of filtration.
My cost, other than the filters, 10 hogs and that was for the 4 position switch. Rest of it came from the scrap bin and left over rattle can paint.
