Today's work in the shop started with emptying the full dust collector of jointer chips.
Then it was set up the planer and thickness the slat boards.

I set up an out feed roller to caatch the boards. After a couple of passes singular the boards where uniform enough to run 2 at a time.

They cleaned up just under 3/4" good enough for a slat wall. If i had stopped at 3/4" a few boards would not have cleaned up.

I sset a sstop block up at the miter saw so i didnt have to measure every board. Set it to 20"

All cut to length.

3 sides are square now so the last step is to rip them to even width. I used a glue line rip blade.

It's taken me 2 days to get to this point, it was a lot of milling, but I find that part of the process fun. Filled the dust collector again. That's 2 30 gallon cans, lol.
