It looks like R. typhina, but a few others do as well. Some have urachal, and that gives about 3 out of 4 people an itching "good time".It should be rhus typhina.

Congrats! Gorgeous wood to work with, but it sure does crack and split a lot. ChuckPicked up some logs of one of my favorite woods today, Osage Orange.
Got a truck bed full of it. This was just the tip of the iceberg, the small pieces that I could lift by myself. The guy had a huge tree come down. I'll go back with a better plan one day soon.
This stuff is dang hard! The chain was sharp but it didn't want to cut. I split a few logs with wedges and that was a slow process as well.
