My best friend owned the mulch yard. Heavy initial investment because of the equipment and land. But, made money hands over fist! He had a non-financial managing partner who started doing shady things, and he decided to divest. During time he owned it, I was allowed free reign over the mountains of wood waiting to be ground up. It was a giddy time!
I've had the same problem with the tree services. Once on their truck or trailer, its gonna go where its gonna go. A few will leave some pieces on the ground, but I better be there before they leave, because their usual agreement with the landowner is for them to haul it away.
