Our Town Dump/Recycle Center has an organized area called The Swap Shop where folks are encouraged to leave usable item for others to take. It’s constantly monitored and items are screened to keep junk out. Found this the other day... looks to be hand made by someone with apprentice level skills but was too nice to ignore.

Besides a wedding ring this is the only jewelry I own and it’s already got a box… will give it to granddaughter next time I see her.

Congrats! Can’t imagine anyone throwing that away! But then I saw my son pitch a perfectly good Keurig coffee maker into the dump a few years back. Chuck
