Here is my latest box. I is made with figured Maple with a quilted Maple top panel. The dimensions are 8 1/4”x 7 1/4” x 2 3/8” tall over all. I t has a divided bottom with a lift off tray on top of the rails. The finish is Watco oil and buffed out with a hard wax. The hinges are Brusso stop hinges.

So I finally fished a box. I recently built a box to keep my Kleenex box from falling off the back of my bench into the hard to get to space behind.
Well my wife saw it and wanted one for her desk. This is that box. It is made from tiger striped Maple. The dimensions are 5 1/4” square by 6” tall. The lid on top fits on the tissue box. It was finished with a drying oil and buffed out with a hard wax. View attachment 291007View attachment 291009
