@Big Ry @SA-Motors I just wanted to let you guys know I didn’t forget about you guys. My dad passed away so I’ll need a few days to get everything together with that. Then I’ll get everything sorted out for you guys
I'm so sorry to hear that. Take whatever time you need. This is just wood; it's not important. Family is the most important thing in life. I hope you're at least able to find comfort in the fact that he's no longer suffering. I'll keep you in my prayers. And we can reconvene about this sale whenever you are ready. No pressure at all. Sorry again.

Fred, I hope that all has been well with you after your loss.

If the Mastergrade gidgee is still available, I'd be interested. The "Bubble gidgee" was discussed, but I didn't see that you posted pictures of this piece. Possible?

FYI, last place we left off I was still considering a piece of the bubble gidgee if he decides to cut it. No details had been posted on the bubble gidgee to date, so I couldn't say for sure if it would be within my budget.

I did pass on the master grade gidgee though, so I imagine that's yours assuming Fred still has it.

Danged - you beat me by 3 hours!

@Mike Hill I actully have a second master grade gidgee board. I was going to keep it for myself. But I will likely never use it, so it’s yours if you want it.

@Big Ry im getting back into the swing of things. I’ll post a picture of the bubbly gidgee tonight or tomorrow. I also got the replacement boonaree and a piece of Belah to show you

Good to see you back. In addition to the pieces we've already agreed upon in my spreadsheet on the last page of this thread (ringed gidgee, spear waddle, dead finish), I believe the following pieces were still outstanding:

1) Bubbly gidgee - you'd indicated it was pricey but that you might have an offcut for me. So this one is presumably contingent on you cutting it.
2) Belah - waiting on details and photos from you
3) buloke - you'd indicated that you have more in storage that you need to pull out
4) boonaree - you said you had another piece to replace the one sold to Mike
5) Yarran - interested in a piece of what you have
6) ironwood waddle - waiting on details and photos from you
7) blue mahoe - you'd said the piece you have is actually blue not green as it appears in current photos. I think you were going to get more photos last we spoke.

I think that covers it. In your absence I've already cashed in some 3m stock to buy 40lbs of gaboon, so my budget is not behaving itself 😂

@Big Ry here is a board of Belah, has a crack down through it which definitely hurts its value. It’s 3.5” wide a little over 11 inch long and a little over 1 1/16” thick. Asking $35 for this board

I'll take it in spite of the split. But for the record, is this a new split from drying? Should I seal up the piece for storage?
I think I bought it that way. It’s very tricky to dry. I only know one guy who consistently drys it without splits. And he’s exspensive. He probably want $150 for that board defect free, plus shipping

Are we talking snakewood hard to dry? Do I need to encase it in 100lbs of wax? Lol how long have you had it?
