How's your day been?

Ah, but that's only half the puzzle. How are the threads in the oil pan itself?
They are good thankfully. I think they are harder than the bolt was. They looked good and the new bolt threaded in very easy by fingers. Tightened up nice with a wrench. Hopefully I never have to replace the pan.

Went out riding on the dual sports with one of my scooter riding buddies. I always stop at this house for a photo, just love this house. It's gotta be a million dollar house easy. We rode dirt roads mostly, stopped for lunch and stopped to watch a combine harvesting soy beans, that was kinda cool.

What a pleasant looking house & setting!

How cold was it? See you still have trees with green leaves there.
Was chilly in the morning and warmed up into the 60s later in the day. Peak color around here will be in about another week, mid October. Haven't had a frost yet.

We've had beautiful weather with highs in the low 80's and lows in the 50's. Only real sign of fall is the early sunset and a few of the tree species starting to turn. Had to run to town this afternoon, but spent a little time walking around at home making sure all the trees were fenced well against the deer (rubbing).

Only real (full) color is the white birch. That is a large red maple behind them with a pin oak to the left side.

The silver maple is starting to color a little bit

We are still at least 2 weeks from normal frost date and won't have "full" color until end of October.
